On 28 July 2025, Rotary Club of Tinsukia organized a Free Cataract Eye Surgery Camp at Lakhmi Eye Care Centre, Tinsukia. The initiative targeted underprivileged senior citizens needing vision restoration. After comprehensive eye checkups, selected patients underwent cataract surgeries performed by leading ophthalmologists. Rotarians provided onsite support, coordinated patient transport, and distributed post-operative care kits. The project aimed to prevent blindness and enhance quality of life for marginalized elders in the community.
