Under the leadership of Rtn Sailesh Sarmah, Rotary Friendship Exchange group comprising teachers and Interact Club mentors engaged in an enriching learning experience in Phuket, Thailand during August 2025. The program focused on fostering understanding of global education systems, cross-cultural exchange, and strengthening the international spirit of Rotary. 12 Participants explored diverse cultures, languages, cuisine, and history, and built new friendships while pursuing hands-on project collaboration opportunities. This initiative broadened horizons for all members, reinforced bonds between international Rotary clubs, and demonstrated Rotary’s commitment to humanitarian service and world understanding.
